Citizenship by birth or place of birth : A marital or extramarital child who was born in or outside Turkey from a Turkish citizen mother or father may acquire Turkish Citizenship
If the child borns in Turkey but does not acquire any citizenship because of foreign father and foreign mother, may acquire Turkish Citizenship
Subsequent Acquisition of Turkish Citizenship
1-Foreign minor who is adopted by a Turkish Citizen, provided that there is no obstacle in terms of national security and public order, may acquire Turkish Citizenship
2- Foreigners who have been married to a Turkish Citizen for at least 3 years and whose marriage continues may apply to acquire Turkish Citizenship
3- Some immigrants accepted by the ministry may apply to Turkish Citizenship providing to ensure some conditions
4- Any adult foreigner who lives in Turkey for uninterrupted 5 years with a work permit may apply for Turkish Citizenship
5- Foreigners who bring industrial facilities to Turkey or provide or are thought to provide extraordinary services in scientific, economic, technological, social, sportive, cultural, and artistic areas may apply for exceptional Turkish citizenship application
